Explaining add-on

Area analysis

Explain numerical area under a curve with interval, sampling, and explicit partial-result metadata.

Make approximation visible—and honest.

AreaAnalyzer uses Simpson’s rule and returns the interval, sample count, signed estimate, and sampled visual data. Preserve those fields so learners can see how the number was produced.

$analysis = (new AreaAnalyzer())->analyze('x^2', 'x', 0, 1, samples: 21);
// status: solved; area: approximately 0.333333333333

If any sample is undefined or non-finite, the result is partial with area: null; visual gaps keep y: null instead of inventing zero. Combine the model with a shaded representation and accessible summary.
